About the team

Practice sessions and coaching are on Friday nights and start 6.00pm and finish at 7.15pm. This is from Friday 29th April to the end of July. Hardball practice usually involves the nets and the boys will need to bring their own equipment of borrow the club gear. They must wear a ‘box’ whilst batting against a hardball.

Please note the first games are on the 29th and 29th April so we need a fast start with this team. They have a LOT of Cricket this year.

On Fridays, or for matches, If the weather isnt good enough (and we dont play in the rain) then I will send out a group message on whatsapp. Make sure you join the group if I have not already put you on it.

In Hertfordshire at U13 age group we are in the A league (the Premiership), and the games are normal T20 format. For us, this means everyone gets to bat and bowl if they want to. At Rickmansworth it is all about participation.

We run with a small squad, so expect players to take part in at least 2/3rds of the games and probably more

For coaching on Fridays parents are welcome to lend a hand if we are short-staffed, however you can also sit back and watch, with a refreshment from the bar, or leave and come back. For matches, I will need a volunteer scorer and a volunteer umpire. If we can take it in turns that will be great.

Fees – we charge £75 for the whole season which covers all training sessions and matches the boys play in. For second children (siblings) it is just £40 for the season. it is It would be great if you could transfer the money to us quickly and please use your name, or child’s name, as the reference.
